Fire Department / First Responders

The Rural Municipality of Headingley is serviced by a 25 member volunteer fire department which includes a first responders unit. The department operates out of the Headingley Fire Hall located at 126 Bridge Road in Headingley. Volunteers undertake aggressive training and certification programs combined with monthly practice sessions to ensure skills are maintained at a high level.

The municipality is a member of the Boyne River Mutual Aid Fire District which provides backup and support services on an as required basis.

Local residents interested in volunteering for service with the fire department and/or first responders are encouraged to visit the Headingley Fire Department website for further requirements.  

Headingley Fire Department 

Each year the Headingley Fire Department organizes the Headingley Run/Walk for Wishes.  This event has been held for over 20 years with the first run in 2001.  The run generates an average of $20,000.00 per year with proceeds going to The Children's Rehabilitation Foundation and Canadian Mental Health.  Please click below for further details and contact information.
